WRITER / ACTRESS / SOUTHERN GIRL

I've been an actress for over 30 years. And have appeared in television shows such as Criminal Minds, CSI, Bones, Veronica Mars, NYPD BLUE and ER, as well as in hundreds of commercials and voice-overs.

I am currently co-host of the popular Podcast - If It's Not 1 Thing, It's your Mother 

 

A southern girl, raised in New Orleans, I come from a long line of dreamers, storytellers, and men who weep.

 

I have been an ill-equipped wife, an enraptured parent, a great kisser and even better cook.

 

I have turned my attention to writing which is what I truly wanted to do all along. For this career choice, I blame Helen Keller. But that is a story for another time.

Currently finishing 2 novels. BIG DADDY'S KNEE, set in 1969 Louisiana.

​

And, SHATTERED DOLL, a New Adult novel series, based on the Miss Parker character from the 90's tv series, The Pretender.

It chronicles her college age years in Operative School.

I like to think of the essays on these pages as snapshots. Some are in sharper focus than others.

​

I intend to be a published novelist when I grow up. In the meantime, I live in Los Angeles with the kid.
